Good Neighbors International in Tajikistan (GNIT) has been working in Tajikistan since 1998. The objective of GNIT is to improve the lives of people, especially children through education, community as well as emergency relief projects. GNIT is working with the key stakeholders such as Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor and migration, Committee of Women Affairs, Local authorities, INGOs UN and donor agencies such as, EU, GIZ, UNICEF, WFP, and others in an integrated approach to connect poor and vulnerable communities to quality education, health, water and sanitation services.

Good Neighbors International in Tajikistan now searches for a Logistic based in Shahritus for Community Development Project. The position requires logistical, human resources and administrative experience and provides full support to the field program staff in all logistic issues. In addition, the logistic will be responsible for the fleet management and procurement at the field level.

Interested candidates should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services

The candidates minimal qualification requirements are:

High school or College diploma or other relevant.

Good in written and spoken in English and Tajik, knowledge of Russian is an asset.

Responsibilities:

The Logistic will have the following duties and responsibilities:

Support CDP Coordinator and CDP staff with logistical, admin and human resources issues;

Assist Admin Manager in development of vendor list, collecting quotations from local Suppliers, preparation of bid analyses and Purchase Agreements;

assist HR dept. and field Coordinator on area recruitment and hiring process, timesheet, leave applications, area staff registration, filling and many other;

Prepare Procurement Requisitions for purchasing of office needs items and check Procurement Requisitions prepared by SSD and Sector (Education, Health) staff;

Conduct procurement of consumables (stationary and household items for office needs, food for coffee breaks and lunches) for Field Based staff by following all GNIT procurement policies and procedures;

Keep Office store and prepare Monthly Stock Reports; submit Monthly Stock Reports to AD Manager on a monthly basis;

Issue goods from filed office stock (stationery items, household goods and etc.) for field staff needs based on Stock Issue Register; be responsible for correct and timely filling of Stock Issue Register;

Assist Program based coordinators and program staff in conducting inventory checks of the GNIT equipment and assets that are located in field offices; prepare quarterly Inventory reports;

Check on a daily basis Log books of CDP vehicles and prepare monthly Fuel coupons and Fuel Consumption Reports and submit to AD Manager on a monthly basis;

Responsible for refueling of field office generator, keeping track of fuel consumption by generator, and submit to AD Manager at the end of each month fuel receipt and report of generators fuel;

Assist in conducting minor repairs (find repairmen and etc.) of office and equipment of filed office by following all GNIT procurement policies and procedures;

Takes steps to minimize cases of fraud.

Qualification and Requirements:

Experience with an international agencies dealing with logistics issues;

Strong working skills in MS office, PP and other;

Excellent organizational and strong communication and inter-personal skills;

Diligent and discreet, willing to work long hours and under pressure with large work load;

Accuracy, attention to detail.
