Good Neighbors International in Tajikistan (GNIT) has been working in Tajikistan since 1998. The objective of GNIT is to improve the lives of people, especially children through education, community as well as emergency relief projects. GNIT is working with the key stakeholders such as Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor and migration, Committee of Women Affairs, Local authorities, INGOs UN and donor agencies such as, EU, GIZ, UNICEF, WFP, and others in an integrated approach to connect poor and vulnerable communities to quality education, health, water and sanitation services.
Good Neighbors International in Tajikistan is currently looking for an experienced Project Coordinator for the Enhancing Integration and Inclusion in Diverse Neighborhoods project.
The Project Coordinator will manage the planning, budget execution, and completion of projects while ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
This work must ensure donor expectations are met and projects are successfully implemented.
Interested candidates should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services (GNIT Application Format ONLY).
Main responsibilities:
1. Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.Identify project milestones and deliverables.
2. Implementation: Coordinate project activities and ensure adherence to timelines.
Frequent travel to the Tursunzoda, Bokhtar, Rudaki, Shahritus, Balkhi, Mastchohi Nav, Chakalovsk, and Khujand.
3. Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress against goals and objectives.
4. Prepare regular Project progress reports for donor and relevant authorities.
5. Conduct the baseline, Mid-term and final evaluations and assessments of project outcomes.
6. Stakeholder Engagement:
Facilitate communication between external stakeholders.
Organize meetings and workshops to gather feedback and input.
Expected results
Approved comprehensive project plan and timeline.
Regular Project progress reports (monthly/quarterly and annually).
Baseline survey, mid-term assessment and final Evaluation reports at project milestones.
Zero - Carryover of the budget
Requirements
University Degree preferably in Education, Protection or Social Science in general.
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Tajik is required. Proficiency in Russian and Korean is preferred.
Good Report writing skills.
Good skills of budget management and monitoring
External communication skills with the donor
Good knowledge of monitoring and the application of methodology:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
