HR and Administration Assistant

for the Enhancing Integration and Inclusion in Diverse Neighborhoods Project

Good Neighbors International in Tajikistan (GNIT) has been working in Tajikistan since 1998. The objective of GNIT is to improve the lives of people, especially children through education, community as well as emergency relief projects. GNIT is working with the key stakeholders such as Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor and migration, Committee of Women Affairs, Local authorities, INGOs UN and donor agencies such as, EU, GIZ, UNICEF, WFP, and others in an integrated approach to connect poor and vulnerable communities to quality education, health, water and sanitation services.

Good Neighbors Tajikistan now searches for an experienced HR/Admin Assistant for the Enhancing Integration and Inclusion in Diverse Neighborhoods Project. S/he will assist the Project Coordinator in managing all aspects of HR/administrative activities and ensure effective support to the project staff during the project side.

Interested candidates should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform (GNT Application Format ONLY, copy of documents evidencing appropriate qualifications and skills, experience and competence related to the task, description of similar tasks performed, references, etc). The candidates minimal qualification requirements are:

University Degree on Administration, Finance, Business and Management or any other relevant areas.

Working knowledge in Tajik/Russian, English language will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Support Administration department and project staff in effective/efficient application of procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective processes in place (receives request from project staff, prepare the Procurement Requisition, Payment and other steps in line with the admin and Administration Managers requirement);

Assist Budget Holders in timely and proper preparations of Procurement Plans (Conduct market survey, find relevant suppliers, announce tenders, run a tender process, make a minute and set up accurately all the documents for the audit);

Support Area Offices in conducting Tenders on the Republican level: detailed check of all Tender relevant documents on correctness and timeliness; review of Suppliers applications, preparation of Bid Analyzes and Tender Agreements;

Assist in holding business conference/workshops, in arranging of accommodation/lodging for arriving guests and visitors and other;

Assist in organizing, compiling and updating project personnel records and documentation, their travels and reports, timesheets or service completion notes and other;

Assist in implement HR procedures as required, specifically operational and administrative tasks (posting job openings and managing applications, schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates, support the onboarding process for new hires, help organize training sessions and workshops, assist in processing timesheets/service completion notes.

Assist in implement personnel policies in line with local labor legislation, acts independently for the tasks which have been assigned.

Requirements

Negotiation and communication skills.

Good knowledge of MS Office and other computer software.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Ability to work with the minimum supervision.

The desire to learn and acquire new skills/knowledge is most important.
