Key responsibilities:

- Identifying and establishing strategic partnerships for the AI Academy and AI Council (AIC) with organizations, academic institutions, and government agencies.

- Building and maintaining long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with external and internal partners to support the academys goals.

- Developing and managing collaborative projects, including joint research initiatives, student internships, and educational programs with partners.

- Organizing and coordinating partnership-driven events such as seminars, workshops, hackathons, and conferences.

- Representing the AI Academy at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the academys network and visibility.

- Monitoring and assessing the performance of partnerships, collecting feedback, and preparing reports on their effectiveness.

Requirements:

Education: A bachelors or masters degree in business, communication, or a related field. A background in technology is an advantage.

Experience: Proven work experience (at least 2 years) in partnership management, business development, or a related role. Experience in the tech or education sectors is a plus.

Skills:

- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Russian, and Tajik.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

- Ability to represent the AI Academy and the AI Council (AIC) at high-level meetings and events.

- Proactive, with the ability to identify new opportunities for collaboration and partnership.

- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex partnerships.

Other: Familiarity with the AI ecosystem, both regionally and internationally, is a plus. The ability to travel for work as required.

The Artificial Intelligence Council of Tajikistan, under the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, is a newly established organization dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence in Tajikistan, in alignment with the National AI Strategy approved by the President on September 30, 2022. The AI Council focuses on driving initiatives and projects in four key areas: education, deployment, data, and ethics. Leading companies from the finance and telecommunications sectors are members of the AI Council, including Babilon, Megafon, ZET Mobile, Spitamen Bank, Eskhata Bank, and IMON International.
In addition to its strategic projects, the AI Council operates the AI Academy, which provides students with comprehensive training in artificial intelligence and offers career opportunities at zypl.ai and within the AI Councils partner network. Several major nationwide AI projects are also in the pipeline, further solidifying Tajikistans commitment to AI development.
